A Manhattan man who was recently sentenced to four years in prison for child sex crimes was arrested and charged on Thursday night after he got into a fight with another inmate.
Tristian Gooden-Heit, 29, has been charged with single counts of battery by making physical contact in a rude, insulting or angry manner and disorderly conduct by brawling or fighting. James Watkins, 43, picked up a charge for battery by knowingly or recklessly causing bodily harm and another for disorderly conduct by brawling or fighting.
Both men are held on bonds of $3,000.
Gooden-Heit was sentenced to prison on Nov. 18 by Judge Grant Bannister after he was found guilty by a jury on 15 counts of sexual exploitation of a child and single counts of a computer crime and interference with law enforcement. Apart of the sentencing, Gooden-Heit was required to register as a sex offender for 25 years.
