Two people were injured in a three-vehicle crash late Friday morning in Manhattan.

The RCPD says the collision happened around 11:23 a.m. on August 8 near the intersection of 8th Street and Bluemont Avenue. Officers determined a 2011 Nissan Rogue driven by 30-year-old Avery Colson of Wamego struck a 2026 Kia Spectra driven by 34-year-old Tara Block of St. George, which then hit a 2018 Chevy Equinox driven by 43-year-old Loyce Striggow of Wakefield.

Colson and Block were transported by Riley County EMS to Via Christi Hospital with minor injuries. Police cited Colson for inattentive driving.
