It’s been nearly a decade since Twisted Sister last played together, with the intention being to keep it that way.

A reunion, however, may now be an inevitability.

“As a result of all the the bands retiring and dying, the offers get bigger and bigger for the holdouts to come back,” Dee Snider said on a recent The Hook Rocks podcast. “We’re on eight years now of not playing, with no intention of coming back. But my father, he says, ‘Everything before the word “but” is bullsh-t.’ At some point, you’ve gotta say, ‘Well, how can I say no to that?'”

Snider added that the offers hadn’t reached the number that Twisted Sister was wanting, but it’s close. Close enough that the band is starting the ‘what if?’ discussions.
