MANHATTAN, KAN. – 

Officers filed a report for criminal damage to property near mile marker 194 on Tuttle Creek Blvd. in Randolph on April 30, 2021, at approximately 12:29 p.m. Officers listed a 42-year-old female as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect threw an unknown object at her vehicle while driving past her and damaged her vehicle’s windshield. Officers responded to the report of an injury accident near the intersection of N. 10th St. and Thurston St. in Manhattan on April 30, 2021, at approximately 7:07 p.m. When officers arrived on scene they found a 2019 Dodge Caravan driven by Tristan Zane, 24, of Olsburg, Kan. struck a 2016 Jeep Compass driven by Elizabeth Smith, 20, of Ft. Riley causing it to flip over. Smith was transported to Via Christi for treatment of head pain. Zane was issued a citation of failure to yield right of way at a yield sign.

Officers filed a report for aggravated indecent liberties with a child in Manhattan on April 30, 2021, at approximately 10:44 p.m. Officers listed a 14-year-old female as the victim and a 15-year-old male known to her as the suspect. Due to the nature of this crime, no further information will be released.

Officers filed a report for aggravated robbery in the 1400 block of Cambridge Pl. in Manhattan on May 1, 2021, at approximately 4:09 a.m. Officers listed a 16-year-old male as the victim when it was reported two unknown suspects approached him and took an iPhone 6S, a silver and gold ring and a face mask while brandishing a firearm. Officers filed a report for aggravated domestic battery and domestic battery in Manhattan on May 1, 2021, at approximately 12:51 p.m. Officers listed 28- and 44-year-old males as the victims when it was reported 44- and 28-year-old males injured them.

Broadway St. in Riley on May 2, 2021, at approximately 12:10 p.m. Officers listed a 22-year-old female as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect “egged” her vehicle. Officers filed a report for criminal damage to property in Manhattan on May 3, 2021, at approximately 2:23 a.m. Officers listed a 21-year-old female as the victim when it was reported a 28-year-old male suspect damaged her vehicle and broke out the rear window.
