Officers filed a report for criminal damage to property near mile marker 194 on Tuttle Creek Blvd. in Randolph on April 30, 2021, at approximately 12:29 p.m. Officers listed a 42-year-old female as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect threw an unknown object at her vehicle while driving past her and damaged her vehicle’s windshield. Officers responded to the report of an injury accident near the intersection of N. 10th St. and Thurston St. in Manhattan on April 30, 2021, at approximately 7:07 p.m. When officers arrived on scene they found a 2019 Dodge Caravan driven by Tristan Zane, 24, of Olsburg, Kan. struck a 2016 Jeep Compass driven by Elizabeth Smith, 20, of Ft. Riley causing it to flip over. Smith was transported to Via Christi for treatment of head pain. Zane was issued a citation of failure to yield right of way at a yield sign.
Officers filed a report for aggravated indecent liberties with a child in Manhattan on April 30, 2021, at approximately 10:44 p.m. Officers listed a 14-year-old female as the victim and a 15-year-old male known to her as the suspect.
