Officers filed a report for theft by deception in the 1600 block of Leavenworth St. in Manhattan on February 9, 2021, at approximately 6:39 p.m. Officers listed a 20-year-old male as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect made a transaction with fake money. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $780.00. Anyone with information can contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Officers filed a report for theft in the 800 block of Commons Pl. in Manhattan on February 9, 2021, at approximately 11:22 p.m. Officers listed a 21-year-old male as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect stole a silver 17 inch HP computer, a navy and blue SwissTech backpack, and two device chargers. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,785.00. Anyone with information can contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.
