The Manhattan Kiwanis Club and Innovative Livestock Services plan to raffle off 10 Braveheart Black Angus Beef Tenderloins in November on News Radio KMAN.
The winner will be announced during KMAN’s Greater Manhattan Community Foundation Hour program on November 9 between 10 and 11 a.m..
Each winner will receive a 15-pound tenderloin that Kitty Pursley, Manhattan Kiwanis Club member, says has a retail value of about $270.
“They’ll be cryovact packages, aged to perfection,” Pursley said. “These are going to be ready to go just before your Thanksgiving and Christmas time.”
According to Pursley, Braveheart Black Angus Beef Tenderloins are from the same source that longtime-Manhattan-eatery Harry’s Restaurant used before closing in July.
“You can’t just go out and buy Braveheart Beef,” Pursley said. “It is premium; just a cut above everything.”
Those interested can purchase one ticket for $10, six tickets for $50 or 12 tickets for $100 with proceeds going toward Manhattan Kiwanis Club scholarships and service projects.
Tickets, which are available until November 6, can be purchased at manhattankskiwanis.com, the Manhattan Kiwanis Club Facebook page, from a Kiwanis Club member or at Bob’s Heating and Air, which is located at 1127 Hayes Dr. in Manhattan.
Winners do not need to be present for the drawing to win.
