The country-tinged rock sound has been around for decades and Saving Abel‘s guitarist Scott Bartlett has embraced it. Along with country artist Rick Monroe they make up the duo Mad Souls. Scott and Rick hit the road a couple of times of year for acoustic shows in smaller-sized cities to keep in touch with their bar band past.
Thursday night (2/23) Mad Souls is performing at Finn’s Pub in Downtown Manhattan. They’ll also be doing show on Fort Riley this Sunday. Scott, Rick and touring partner Alan Beeler stopped by the K-ROCK studios for a chat with Sloan. You can listen to that conversation below.
