The Manhattan High boys begin play in the Dodge City Tournament of Champions Thursday, with the field this year limited to one top 10 team, per the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association.

The 6A Boys poll is led by Wichita Heights, who will open on the opposite bracket of Manhattan, facing Eisenhower Thursday. The Indians open with Olathe East at 8:30 that night on Newsradio KMAN.

Junction City’s boys held at number seven this week, despite a one point loss to Manhattan two Fridays ago.

The Wamego girls are again second ranked in 4A, behind Bishop Miege. Valley Heights is ninth in 2A, Frankfort 4th in 1A-Division 1.
