The Kansas State Innovations Partners president and CEO is stepping down to take a new position at Oregon State University.

Rebecca Robinson is expected to take a job as the associate vice president for economic development and industry relations and senior advisor for strategic intiatives at Oregon State.

In a press release from the university, Robinson is credited for building industry partnerships for K-State and driving university-based economic development in the Manhattan region and beyond. The university says that Robinson’s leadership led to the recruitment of 29 technology based companies to Manhattan resulting in the creation of more than 1,600 high-wage jobs.

Robinson’s resignation is effective Mar. 31.
