The early signing period saw Kansas State’s football program gain the signatures on letters of intent from 15 players, starting early Wednesday morning.
Coach Chris Klieman addressed the math behind that number.
Kli – Factors behind 15 player class
The signing class consisted of 13 high school prospects and two community-college transfers, hailing from nine different states, including four from Kansas.
Four of the incoming players are offensive lineman.
Kli – OL was biggest need
Of the 15 signees on Wednesday, nine are expected to enroll at K-State for the 2024 spring semester. Malcolm Alcorn-Crowder, Blake Barnett, Callen Barta, Ryan Howard, Boone Morris, Kyle Rakers, DeVon Rice, Jacques Spradley-Demps and Dante Thomas comprise that group.
The standard singing window opens Wednesday, February 7th and Klieman says the pursuit of players brings an adjusted focus.
