A cybersecurity incident disrupted some of the computer services yesterday at Kansas State University.

According to a university press release, the incident interrupted the school’s VPN, K-State Today emails and its Canvas and Mediasite accounts.

In the press release the university said that “upon detection, university IT took immediate steps to investigate the disruption, isolating the areas of concern. We are able to confirm that these disruptions are the result of a recent cybersecurity incident.”

The University also said the services were taken offline and will remain offline until an investigation is completed. No updates have been given since last evening at 6:15 pm.
