A St. George woman is jailed on a host of charges stemming from a crash Tuesday in Randolph.
The Riley County Police Department responded to the intersection of West Randolph and North 1st Streets where a Dodge Grand Caravan was located still running after striking a power pole. The driver, 33-year-old Krystle Zimmer, was located by police and found to be intoxicated. As they attempted to arrest her, police say Zimmer resisted and attempted to run away from officers. She’s accused of biting two officers and threatening them.
Zimmer is charged with driving under the influence as well as two counts each of battery, criminal threat and interference against a law enforcement officer.
She remains jailed on a $20,000 bond.
