The Flint Hills Regional Leadership Program has announced the members of its 2020-21 class offering.

Among the members in this year’s class are Zach Bayless, City of Manhattan Parks and Recreation Supervisor for Arts and Humanities, Tara Claussen, Konza United Way CEO, Fanny Fang, Riley County Commission candidate and Asian Market owner and partner and Ben Fisher, USAG Fort Riley Air Traffic Controller.

The class members, most of whom live or work in Fort Riley, Geary, Riley or Pottawatomie County, were introduced to each other last Thursday during a Zoom meeting.

At 22 members, the class has been downsized by about 27 percent so that social distancing is easier to maintain during classroom sessions.

Orientation for the program will take place in Junction City in about three weeks with later sessions occurring every three weeks until graduation in February.
