The 2018 Walk to End Alzheimer’s – Manhattan will be held on Saturday, September 22nd at Manhattan City Park. Registration will be at 8:00 am. Ceremony will be at 9:00 am and the Walk at 9:15 am. The CASA Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children 2018 Fall Training will be held on September 25th; October 2,9,16,23,30; November 6,13. The public is invited to attend the third Talk20MHK event on Thursday, September 27th, from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm in the Manhattan Public Library auditorium. The event is free and open to the public. Six local speakers will each give a dynamic, seven-minute presentation featuring 20 PowerPoint slides. Topics at the event will range from oxytocin’s role in parenting with KayLee Proctors to hiking the Appalachian Trail with Rita Ross.
