Part Ho Ho Ho and part Harley… Join K-ROCK and the Pearce-Keller American Legion Post 17 for Christmas in July at the Flint Hills Discovery Center on Saturday the 10th! The event begins at 11am and runs until around 2pm.

We have a super cool day lined up for you, featuring a Toys for Tots drive starring Santa! You’ll get $2 off your Discovery Center admission for every new unwrapped toy you donate. In addition, there’s a motorcycle rally and a “Kids’ Choice” contest! (Scroll down further to see the route for the rally!)

Explore the new Hands-On Harley-Davidson Exhibit, send the kids to the activities, and roll up for a motorcycle safety demo, music and food trucks.

Dave G from the K-ROCK Morning Show will broadcast on-air from 10a -Noon at the Flint Hills Discovery Center.

Meet at McCall Pattern Company, 615 McCall Road in Manhattan at 9 a.m. for contest registration.
Kickstands up at 10:45 a.m.
Santa and rally participants ride to Discovery Center for 11 a.m. arrival.
Kids will vote on their favorite motorcycles for the “Kids’ Choice” contest from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. with awards presented at 1:30 p.m.

The Hands-On Harley-Davidson™  is a new traveling exhibit at the Flint Hills Discovery Center! Step into a kid-sized Harley-Davidson® dealership with two customizable Road-King®-inspired motorcycles. Go for a virtual ride in our simulator. Learn how engines work, the “rules of the road,” and bike maintenance. Enter the “Engineering Lab” to design and test your own freestyle course with tracks, ramps, and loops.

See real vintage motorcycles including a commemorative Evel Knievel Harley, 1913 Board Track motorcycle, and XR-750 Harley.
