The start of a new school year involves a good deal of preparation for teachers, and Woodrow Wilson Elementary School second-grade teachers Catelynne LePage and Ina Holmes have high hopes for 2024-25.
LePage has been a teacher for six years, starting at Woodrow Wilson as a kindergarten teacher in 2018 before teaching second grade the last two years. She said lesson-planning started a week before classes.
