A Nebraska woman was taken to a local hospital following an accident on US-77 on Monday afternoon.
Cynthia Johnston of Lincoln, Nebraska was traveling south on the highway near mile-marker 165 when her 2018 Subaru Outback collided with a deer entering the roadway. The vehicle was totaled in the collision.
Geary County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene and Johnston transported herself to to Stormont Vail Flint Hills. Her injuries are expected to be minor and non-life threatening.
