
A severe winter weather watch will be in effect on Saturday for the region including Riley, Pottawatomie and Geary Counties.
Also, Clay and Wabaunsee County will be under that advisory from beginning at 9 am on Saturday and that will remain throughout the day Sunday.
Potential hazards with this storm include anywhere between four to 11 inches of snow with higher amounts expected north of I-70. Ice is expected to accumulate to two tenths of an inch south of I-70. Winds could gust anywhere between 35 and 45 miles per hour.
