
A Wichita man surrendered to police in Riley County on Thursday after a warrant was put out for his arrest on a slew of charges headlined by violating a protective order.
Officers arrested Jeffrey Junkenmeier, 59, just prior to 6 p.m. on Thursday evening on a Riley County District Court warrant for five counts of violating a protective order and two counts for making a criminal threat.
Bond has been set in this case at $25,000 and Junkenmeier remains confined in the Riley County Jail as of Friday morning.
