State record broken! Friday at the Salina Central Relays, Manhattan High’s 4×100 meter girls team broke the Kansas high school record for fast time in the event’s history.

Sarah Oberreuter, Hanna Pellant, Harli Omli, and Michelle Jeje ran a time of 46.84 seconds. Breaking the previous record of 46.86 set by runners from Newton High in 2017.

Capturing that record was the exclamation point it what was a great day for MHS track and field. Both teams took first place at the Salina Central Relays.
