WAMEGO — A Wamego teenager died from a gunshot wound Wednesday evening, Police Chief Paul Schliffke said Thursday.
The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office, Wamego Police Department and Emergency Medical Services responded to a home in the 1000 block of Ash St. at 9:52 p.m.
Schliffke said responders provided medical care, but they pronounced the boy dead at the scene.
