USD 475 officials believe they have “strong systems” in place to keep staff and students safe in school after threats against Junction City Middle School earlier this month.

Junction City police have arrested two juveniles in connect to a threatening Snapchat post that listed the names of USD 75 students and staff members on Sept. 13. That was after a TikTok post made shooting threats against the middle school on Sept. 11 as part of what JCPD officials said was a larger trend targeting schools across the state.
