Manhattan-Ogden USD 383 has no plans to add girls’ flag football for the upcoming fall season, following Thursday’s decision by the Kansas State High School Activities Association to officially sanction the sport beginning in 2026-27.
Manhattan High athletics director Mike Marsh told The Mercury on Friday that, as of now, the district will not be implementing the sport next year.
