The USD 383 school board meets at 6:30 p.m. this evening at the Robinson Education Center. Among the agenda items to be considered is a 4.63% wage increase for classified employees, as well as administrator, coordinator and manager employee salaries, retroactive to July 1, the start of the new budget year.

The board will consider a change order for the guaranteed maximum price for the 901 Poyntz building renovations, totaling $108,000, for parking to be added along the east side of 10th Street between Pierre and Houston.

A $55,000 contract to install cameras at 901 Poyntz will also be considered.

Wednesday is the first day of classes for students at USD 383 Manhattan-Ogden Schools.

Students are on a half-day schedule, with the middle and high schools dismissing just before 11 a.m. and elementary schools just before noon. No lunch will be served. Thursday is the first full day of school for K-12. Manhattan Virtual Academy will begin classes on Monday.
