WAMEGO, Sept. 17 – USD 320 met in three special sessions on Tuesday, much of which revolved around approving the 2024-2025 budget and approving exceeding the revenue neutral rate.
The budget shows an increase in the mill levy from 55.099 to 56.147, a 1.0488 jump. This means that the tax for a $100,000 home will increase approximately $63 from $473.19 to $536.19, or 13.31%.
Both of those hearings began at the regular meeting, Sept. 9, but due to a clerical error, were continued to this evening. No patrons spoke either evening.
