Manhattan, KS – Following his visit to the Little Apple this weekend, Illinois-Chicago transfer CJ Jones has pledged his commitment to Jerome Tang and K-State men’s basketball.

The 6’5 wing from East St. Louis averaged 11.4 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game this past season. Also, shot a career best 37.8% from three. His 4.8 assists per game was 4th in the Missouri Valley Conference. Jones really shined in his final 17 games of last season. Averaged 14 points and shot 40% from three. That included a 16 points and 14 assists game against Drake.

Jones becomes the second commitment out of the transfer portal for Kansas State. The first being former Michigan point guard Dug McDaniel.

Jones will come to K-State with two years of eligibility remaining.
