One person sustained injuries early Thursday morning following a car vs. motorcycle crash near Claflin and Hylton Heights Road in Manhattan.
The incident occurred shortly before 6 a.m. The motorcyclist was transported to Ascension Via Christi for treatment of injuries. The driver of the passenger car was cited for inattentive driving. Names of the two involved in the crash weren’t immediately available.
Police also responded late Wednesday evening to a crash near North Manhattan and Kimball Avenues after a Nissan Sentra, driven by 19-year-old Danyel Lane, of Manhattan rear-ended a Nissan Sentra driven by 34-year-old William Modesitt, of Manhattan.
Lane and a passenger in her car, 20-year-old Brooklynn Grogg, of Manhattan, were transported to Via Christi for treatment of broken wrist and hand bones. Lane was also cited for inattentive driving.
