Two people were transported to the hospital Thursday evening following a crash in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department.

Officers responded at approximately 5:22 p.m. April 23rd to the area of Sloan Street and Griffith Drive for a reported injury accident. Upon arrival, officers determined that a 2004 Cadillac DeVille driven by Robert Houston, 45, of Manhattan, had collided with a 2022 Ford Escape driven by Michael Noda, 31, of Manhattan.

Houston and a passenger were transported by EMS to Via Christi Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Houston was issued citations for failure to yield at a stop sign and no insurance.
