True Colors, a nonprofit that supports LBGTQ+ youth, is in trouble, its leaders say.

Katie Baker, executive director of True Colors Flint Hills, said in an announcement last week that the organization has seen declining donations over the past year, and unless something changes will have to close its doors next month.

She said True Colors needs $25,000 to make it to the end of the year. That amount will allow the group to plan for a more “sustainable” operation, she said.
