A Topeka man will spend 18 years in prison after a Riley County District Court sentenced him Monday for multiple crimes, including two counts of attempted murder.
Dontreveon Stephon Temple-McGlory, 22, was sentenced to 18 years in custody of the Kansas Department of Corrections for attempted murder, 4 years 11 months for a second count of attempted murder, 4 years 11 months for criminal discharge of a firearm, 1 year each for two counts of contribution to child misconduct and 6 months each for three charges of criminal damage to property.
Judge Grant Bannister ordered the sentences all run concurrently and that Temple-McGlory receive 433 days of credit for time already served in jail. He also ordered restitution of $3,074 be paid to the Kansas Crime Victims Compensation Board and $800 be paid to the Children’s Advocacy Center.
Temple-McGlory’s convictions are connected to a Nov. 31, 2024 shooting, and he has several co-defendants connected to the case who are in various states of the judicial process.
