
A Wamego man is jailed in Riley County after police say he robbed a man at gunpoint and stole his truck.
Riley County Police say 67-year-old Michael Ivy was arrested just after 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Riley County Jail for aggravated robbery. The incident occurred shortly after 1:30 p.m. near Beck Street and Casement Road. The victim was a 28-year-old man.
Ivy was issued a $125,000 bond and remained in custody as of Friday’s arrest report.
Police said two other arrests were made as a result of the initial report, including 40-year-old Otto Tisdale, of St. George and 23-year-old Bailey Collier, of Louisville (Lewis-ville), Kansas. Tisdale faces charges of violating the offender registration act, possession of an opiate, and use/possession with intent use drug paraphernalia and is held on a $32,000 bond. Collier is charged with parole violation and was issued no bond. Both men remain in custody.
