The Sunset Zoo will host its annual Water Safari on Aug. 1, featuring educational booths, family activities and local food vendors.
While regular zoo admission rates apply, families using the Sunflower Summer app can gain free general zoo entry to attend the event.
Sunflower Summer is a program by Kansas Tourism offering families a way to explore the state with free admission for one child and one adult to various museums, zoos, historical attractions and nature centers.
