A Topeka man is jailed in Pottawatomie County after being located Sunday in a stolen vehicle.
The St. Marys Police Department says 41-year-old Jeffrey Heimberg was arrested without incident on charges of possession of stolen property and driving with a suspended license.
Police were notified by Shawnee County officials Sunday of a suspicious man who had been checking door handles in the Rossville area and heading toward St. Marys. He was pulled over shortly before 4 pm Sunday.
The bond amount was said to be pending as of Monday morning.
