They ran it back. For the 2nd consecutive year, Wamego boys golf is the 4A state champions. From Turkey Creek Golf Course in McPherson, the Red Raiders finished day two 26 shots over par. 11 shots ahead of 2nd place McPherson.

Five of Wamego’s six golfers finished in the top 10. Adding up the two days, Wamego’s top individual performance was a 4th place finish by Spencer Hecht with a 147 total. One stroke back in 6th place was Cash Foltz. Tying for 7th place was Wamego’s Breckin Miller and Regan Kueker. Rounding out the top 10 finisher was Talon White in 10 place. Kaden Tyner finished in 23rd.

Over at 6A State in Garden City, Manhattan finished day two in 5th place at +33. Jackson Powers ended his two day run leading Manhattan with a 20th place finish shooting 153. Tate Reid tied for 26th with a 155. One stroke behind was Gage Hull in 29th. Owen Kandt finished tied for 39th. Cade Cochran and Cooper Graham was 52nd and 54th respectively.
