The Washington Commanders selected Ben Sinnott with the 53rd overall pick in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft.

Sinnott, a two-time first All-Big 12 selection, was the second tight end to be taken in this year’s draft just behind Brock Bowers of Georgia. Sinnott went from a walk-on in Manhattan to one of the nation’s best tight ends by the time his career came to an end in the Little Apple.

Sinnott compiled 1138 total receiving yards, 82 receptions and ten touchdowns in his three seasons with the ‘Cats. He had career-highs in receptions, touchdown catches, receiving yards and yards per reception this past season with the Wildcats.
