Buzzed and baked? Almost two years after police raided local CBD store American Shaman, the company is set to open a cafe — selling coffee containing marijuana — in the same location.
Coffee Pott Co. owner Jason Todack announced Monday on Facebook that the store will open Wednesday. The building is renovated and will serve coffee infused with tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), cannabigerol (CBG) and cannabidiol (CBD), among other products.
Kansas law caps total THC content at 0.3% by dry weight volume. Todack said he worked with lobbyists and members of congress to educate them on what he said was, “The key for politicians to understand how everything works with your endocannabinoid system and how many people count on our products day to day.”
