A Republican will retain the District 67 seat in the Kansas House of Representatives.

Angel Roeser beat Democratic opponent Kim Zito Tuesday with nearly 53% of the vote and will replace retiring GOP Rep. Mike Dodson in January.

“I just want to thank the voters for showing out and having the confidence in me,” she said. “I’m looking forward to rolling up my sleeves and working hard in Topeka.”
