
Former Riley County girls’ basketball coach Harold Oliver was inducted into the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame over the weekend, honoring one of the most successful coaching careers in Kansas high school basketball history.
Oliver’s teams appeared in 24 sub-state championship games and produced 13 20-win seasons. Riley County also captured three state championships under Oliver, while finishing as state runner-up once and placing third once.
