
Riley County is proceeding with a comprehensive judicial services needs assessment to evaluate space needs for the courthouse, county attorney’s office and community corrections.
County commissioners on Thursday unanimously approved a $194,000 contract with BBN Architects. The Manhattan-based firm’s assessment will include on-site evaluations of existing buildings and analysis of court workflows and staffing. Security and safe transportation of prisoners and defendants to and from court hearings is also being considered.
