Riley County Police filed reports for two separate vehicle thefts on December 3, 2024, in Manhattan, KS.
The first incident occurred in the 2700 block of Leslie Lane, where a 46-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man reported their 2004 Toyota Tacoma stolen overnight. The total loss associated with the theft is approximately $6,000.
Later in the day, officers responded to a second report of motor vehicle theft in the 3300 block of Musil Drive at approximately 2:19 PM. A 23-year-old man reported his Mazda 6 was stolen during the morning hours. However, the vehicle was recovered later that night at approximately 11:38 PM.
