Two Manhattan men were booked into the Riley County Jail over the weekend.
Joseph Emanuel Snitker, 23, was taken into custody early Sunday morning on probable cause for aggravated domestic battery and criminal damage to property. Police say the incident involved choking a family member or someone in a dating relationship and damaging property valued at less than $1,000. Snitker’s bond was set at $5,000.
In a separate case, 21-year-old Howard Leavell Amos was arrested Saturday afternoon on two warrants for failure to appear. His total bond was listed at $14,000.
Both men remained confined at the Riley County Jail as of Sunday morning.
