The RCPD logged 23 incidents and eight arrests between Aug. 23 and 24.

Officers responded to two injury crashes, one in the 4200 block of Kimball Avenue Saturday night and another early Sunday morning in the 200 block of Westwood Road. Several non-injury crashes were reported throughout Manhattan, including at N. 5th Street and Fremont Street and near Fremont Street and N. 14th Street. Other reports included a robbery at the UStop on Bluemont Avenue, criminal threats at Be Able Community Center and on Concord Lane, larcenies at Walmart and on Bertrand Street, and a burglary on Daisy Court. Police also handled cases involving battery, domestic violence, a lewd/lascivious incident, and minors in possession of alcohol .

Among the arrests, 40-year-old James Thomas Moore of Manhattan was jailed Saturday night on charges of attempted aggravated robbery and domestic battery. Bond was not listed. Police also arrested 22-year-old Russell Wade Wilkey of Manhattan early Sunday in the 1300 block of Laramie Street for interference with law enforcement, with bond set at $500. Lakesha Dawn Randolph, 24, of Manhattan, was arrested just before 1 a.m. Sunday in the 1100 block of Moro Street on a warrant for failure to appear, with bond set at $1,000.

Other arrests included Avery Doocy Haug, 20, and Levi Chance Moltz, 19, both of Manhattan, who were booked by Kansas State University Police Saturday morning on domestic battery charges, each with a $2,000 bond. Additional arrests over the weekend included charges of failure to appear, driving while suspended, and domestic battery
