Ashley Renee Rekiel, 32, of Wamego, was arrested at approximately 10:37 p.m. on Aug. 17, 2026 in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road on a Riley County District Court warrant for theft of property or services, driving while suspended and child passenger safety. This arrest stems from a report originally filed in April 2026. Rekiel was issued a total bond of $10,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
Hope Elizabeth Minter, 44, of Topeka, was arrested at approximately 12:14 p.m. on Aug. 17 in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation. This arrest stems from original charges that include two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Minter was issued no bond and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
