Laynie Perez, 18, of Manhattan, was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for attempted aggravated robbery and aggravated assault. Total bond was set at $25,000. The apprehension stems from an incident that occurred in April of this year where a female was shot in the abdomen in Manhattan, Kansas. Perez was confined at the time of this report.
