Officers listed Valley Metals as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect fraudulently cashed sixteen (16) checks on their account without permission. Officers filed a report of an injury accident at the corner of Fort Riley Blvd and Richards Dr. on July 18, 2024, at approximately 8:19 PM. Officers report the accident involved a single vehicle, a Nissan sedan, had left the roadway and collided with a pole. The driver, Jason Mendoza, 22, of Fort Riley was transported via EMS to Via Christi for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.
