Elias Quentario Mendez Chase Wallace, 22, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 10:13 p.m. on June 29, 2026 in the 200 block of Fort Riley Blvd. on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation. This arrest stems from original charges of battery of a law enforcement officer and criminal trespass. Chase Wallace was issued a total bond of $5,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Officers filed a report of criminal damage to property and criminal discharge of a firearm at approximately 10:11 a.m. on June 29 in the 1300 block of Marlatt Avenue. A 33-year-old woman was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect fired two gunshots into her parked vehicle. Officers filed a report of rape at approximately 9:21 a.m. on June 29 in Manhattan. A 23-year-old woman was listed as the victim. A male known to the victim was listed as the suspect. Due to the nature of this crime, no further information will be released.
