
Edward Javante Wright, 30, of Junction City, was arrested at approximately 6:57 p.m. on June 28, 2026 in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation. This arrest stems from original charges of three counts of aggravated assault. Wright was issued no bond and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
Officers filed a report of theft of property of services at approximately 5:23 a.m. on June 27 in the 1500 block of Fair Lane. A 22-year-old woman was listed as the victim when it was reported her 2025 Nissan Sentra was stolen by an unknown suspect. The total estimated loss associated with this case is more than $15,000. Officers filed a report of aggravated criminal sodomy and aggravated sexual battery at approximately 2:52 a.m. on June 27 in Manhattan. A 21-year-old woman was listed as the victim and two unknown males were listed as the suspects. Due to the nature of this crime, no further information will be released. Kevin Michael Harbaugh, 44, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 5:27 a.m. on June 26 in the 7400 block of Stockdale Park Road on two Riley County District Court warrants for failure to appear. This arrest stems from original charges of aggravated residential burglary, criminal deprivation of property, violation of protection orders, intimidation of a witness, domestic battery, and driving while suspended. Harbaugh was issued a total bond of $112,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
