Officers filed a report of theft of property or services at approximately 6:32 a.m. on June 14, 2026 in the 300 block of N. 5th Street. A 73-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect stole his purple Specialized Hybrid bicycle. The total estimated loss associated with this case is $2,000. Anyone with information, contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward up to $1,000.
Noah Shadrick McFadden, 18, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 8:11 a.m. on June 12 in the 1000 block of Pottawatomie Court for aggravated robbery. This arrest stems from a report originally filed May 5, 2026. McFadden was issued a total bond of $8,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.
