Officers filed a report of aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer and fleeing or attempting to elude a law enforcement officer at approximately 9:57 p.m. on May 16 in Leonardville. A 54-year-old man and 43-year-old man were listed as the victims. Anthony John Lyons, 50, of Leonardville, was arrested at approximately 9 p.m. on May 20, 2026 in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road on two counts of aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer and one count of fleeing or attempting to elude a law enforcement officer. Lyons was issued a total bond of $10,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
Officers filed a report of aggravated robbery, aggravated battery and contributing to child misconduct at approximately 9:16 p.m. on May 19 in the 1000 block of Colorado Street. A 14-year-old male was listed as the victim when it was reported five known suspects battered him and stole multiple items, including a cell phone. Tommie Earl Baggett, 18, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 2:08 p.m. on May 20 near Ewing Road and Brockman Street for aggravated robbery, aggravated battery and contributing to child misconduct. Baggett was issued a total bond of $40,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report. Whitney Terrell Hamilton, 27, of Manhattan, was also arrested – at approximately 1:23 p.m. near Ewing Road and Brockman Street for aggravated robbery, aggravated battery and contributing to child misconduct. Hamilton was issued a total bond of $50,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
Officers filed a report of computer unlawful acts, criminal use of a financial card and theft of property or services at approximately 12:14 p.m. on May 20 in the 200 block of Ninth Street in Ogden. A 59-year-old woman was listed as the victim when it was reported a known 41-year-old male suspect stole money from a bank account belonging to the victim. The total estimated loss associated with this case is $1,323.79.
Brian Odell LaCamera, 39, of Linn, was arrested at approximately 12:12 p.m. on May 20 in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road on a Riley County District Court warrant for burglary. This arrest stems from an original report from November 2023. LaCamera was issued a total bond of $25,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
