The following summary of calls for service/reports filed by the Riley County Police Department is a portion of those received by police.  Some names, addresses, and case details are withheld to follow local, state, and federal law as well as in an attempt to protect community members from being victimized further.  Those arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

MANHATTAN, KAN. – 

Officers filed a report for battery and criminal damage to property in the 700 block of Kearney St. in Manhattan on February 5, 2021, at approximately 11:03 p.m. Officers listed a 23-year-old male as the victim when it was reported a 30-year-old male suspect injured him and broke out a vehicle window. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $500.00.

Officers filed a report for domestic battery, criminal damage to property, criminal threat, and aggravated assault in Manhattan on February 7, 2021, at approximately 10:41 p.m. Officers listed a 19-year-old female and two 19-year-old males as the victims when it was reported two 19-year-old males threatened them, injured them, and damaged doors and a wall. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $500.00. Treyton Pray, 19, of Pocatello, Idaho was arrested in connection on the offenses of domestic battery and criminal damage to property. Pray was issued a total bond of $2,000.00 and is no longer confined at the time of this report.
